NOTARIAL ARCHIVES
Since July 2005 we offer you a digital access to the notarial archives of Breda 1811-1843. This access
to the so-called repertories (chronological surveys of acts,
executed by the notary) reviews all acts, made by the notary in a
certain period and the directly involved partners. The notary did not
always keep a minute copy in his archives. Sometimes he just wrote down
some lines in his repertory. Repertories are an aid to
historical research.
If you want to know if an original minute act is kept in the archives of
the notary, you are welcome to do your own research in the municipal
archives of the city of Breda (NL). For our hours of opening and

In this latest update July 5 2005 we have rectified all errors and
comments, encountered by visitors December 1, 2005 till June 15 2005. This means,
that we have checked the possible input error and made some
rectifications in ISIS. Thank you very much for all your help. There
will be a next update as soon as a considerable number of new
rectifications have been made in the involved sources.
